Christian answering questions.

RE: Christian answering questions.
Why would you become a Christian before finding evidence, rather than finding evidence and then become a Christian? Seems fucking backwards.

To share one in 40.000 christian truths. That's of course not counting all the various muslim truths or the jewish ones.

Let's start out by revealing what kind of christian you are, if you please.

A recent estimate has it up to 78,000 schisms now.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Observational science is something that can be tested and confirmed over and over again. It can be observed by the eye.

The only thing we do observe is genetic loss. Not gain. Without new information being added to the gene pool, you're not going to have evolution.
An atheist believes a caveman used his teeth and now it's vestigial because we've evolved past that.

A Christian believes sin entered the world and we're losing genetic information each time we reproduce. This is confirmed by science, over and over and over again.

Yes. Every single letter, literally.

Be advised, Cherubim. There are many here who have backgrounds/careers in biochemistry and evolutionary biology, including myself.

The "Polonium halos" AiG article is over 20 years old, and has been heavily debunked by actual research.

http://ncse.com/rncse/30/5/origin-polonium-halos

Edit to Add: Upon looking, I found out that Robert Gentry first forwarded the idea in 1965... so it's over 50 years old. However, since I first encountered this misinformation in college in the 1990s, I took it to be 20 years. My mistake.

I hope you know that we have the same evidence but a different interpretation of said evidence. Does an atheist interpret it my way or his way? You're going about it the wrong way.

You clearly did not read the heavily-cited article to which I referred you.

You don't get to "interpret" the data in a way that conflicts with testable reality, and call it valid. Sorry.

Finally, what in the world makes you think the author(s) of that article/website are atheists? I happen to personally know (well, have met on numerous occasions) the head of the NSCE, and I know she's a Christian. She is also an evolutionary biologist and (now retired) professor.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Read / Watch my testimony. I wont share it on here as it's not important.

So how did this god do it? How does speaking become the Universe?

And before you try the "uni means one and verse means a spoken sentence" shtick, that's not the etymology of Universe.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Hope you don't mind me saying that, but you haven't got the first clue.

You interpret the data yourself. Every single human being on this earth interprets the data based on their beliefs.

I have given examples of this twice now. Read those examples.

Hello looney. Welcome to the Forum.

Can you send me some gold that you claim to be able to make through alchemy?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Did you not read what I said? God doesn't tell us, therefore I do not know. I have told you this, why repeat the question? Are you not reading my answers properly?
