What are people's most controversial views?

As in, what do you take to be true, or think about a particular thing, that most would not agree with, or that a lot of people would frown upon?

For example, here's mine: Nigel Farage is my favourite politician and I think he speaks the most sense out of all of them.

(I could probably get more controversial than the above but I don't want to offend anyone )

Some people, regardless of whether they are theistic or non-theistic, say that there must be one truth and that everyone else is wrong. But, why can't everyone (all truths and beliefs) be wrong?  Why doesn't humanity embrace this possibility more often?

Hm. On some level I agree with you, but there still has to be one set of truths that is true. That doesn't mean that anyone on the planet absolutely has the right beliefs. We could all be wrong about the truth.

Thanks. In truth I'm pretty frothing at the mouth to protect people rights and I can't stand sexism or racism. I think that is why I'm the way I am because for example I can't stand it when women are painted as these delicate little wall flowers that can't take care of themselves. Just like can't stand people that look at a black person and say "you must be a criminal".

Because that removes the need for an idea of right and wrong altogether. There is a right and wrong way to do everything. If you say everything is wrong, you won't get around to doing anything, presumably.

Because that removes the need for an idea of right and wrong altogether. There is a right and wrong way to do everything. If you say everything is wrong, you won't get around to doing anything, presumably.
