I'm actually at a loss what one should think about that kind of argument. Please tell me, you're not serious. I mean, here's hoping that this isn't the sharpest arrow in your quiver.

Yeah I really need to stop using irony as humour, it's really not being understood.

Are you Northern?

Well I live up north but I was born in the midlands, spent most of my life down south and are pretty much completely unaffected by where I live in the UK because I don't associate with any of the local fuckwits or even pick up any of the local accents, wherever I go.

I prefer the internet. I'm less North-en and more Global-en.

As am I. Given my own genes, which are an excellent remnant of the melting pot my country has once been. So, in that sense I'm a traditionalist. Just hundred years ago, people didn't care if they mated with jews, bohemians, Germans or Hungarians. So why should I suddenly give a fuck? My family has a proud, and I mean proud, history of fighting fascism wherever it popped up it's head. Back when it was dangerous to do so. In the Austrian as well as the Spanish civil war and all through WWII. I certainly won't bow to the new kind of primitivity when there's next to no danger involved speaking out against it. I rather take a piss on the new nationalist turdheads than on the graves of my ancestors.

We certainly agree on many things, Abaris, and we certainly disagree on many things too -- and I say "and we disagree" and not "but we disagree" because unlike some people, I think disagreements are okay and I don't have them to tell people how wrong they are -- but there's common ground and I hope you don't dislike me or anything. I'm fine with anyone disliking me but like a lot of people, I like to be liked, it's nice.

I just be myself and I may want people to be nice to me and hope people like me, but I don't need it and I just be honest and if they like me they like me, if they don't they don't.

I fully admit I can go overboard when I'm in a bad mood sometimes. I could give an example of where I did on another thread but I feel like talking about another thread is beyond off-topic.

But if you ever want to talk to me via PM, you're welcome to PM me whenever.

So yeah, I fully stand by my opinion that UKIP are fucking awful. I personally think it's a red herring to say "they're not as bad as the BNP, don't compare them" when I never said they were. I feel they have similarties and I can compare them as much as I like, it's my opinion that there are similarities -- it doesn't mean that they are the same, it doesn't mean that I am "lumping them together" and it doesn't mean that I think anyone who agrees with UKIP is as bad as UKIP. This so-called "insinuation" is actually what I like to call "reading far fucking too much into shit."

Why don't you talk normally? Is that my best argument for leaving the EU? HAHAHAHAHA

I like someone who uses metaphor in communication ... a lot more than I like someone who finds laughter in ridiculing others online.

Thanks Smile I'll genuinely take that as a very big compliment and a recognition of my completely non-unique awesomeness Smile
