It's not about photos. Imagine if you will, that you fall in love with a transperson you find attractive, and that later they decide to transition back. You need to be 100% comfortable with that, and strict heterosexuals such as myself am not.

Far less likely to happen than hooking up with a heterosexual person only to find that they are a transperson in denial.
And as for comments about meeting an attractive woman only for them to undress in front of you and to find out that they have a penis, that's more the stuff of heterosexual male nightmares / fantasies / myth. How many women have you been with that have been too ashamed to even be seen naked? Now think of how that same woman would feel if she was to get undressed to reveal a horrible disfigurement that has blighted her entire life.

This was a question that came up randomly with me and my wife actually. What would happen if one of us suddenly wanted a sex change? How would our marriage work after that? Would it work?
I don't think I could possibly say. My immediate response is I wouldn't (perhaps couldn't) feel romantically about a man. But then he would still be Emma. We'd remain very close friends, I don't doubt that.
Neither of us could give a definitive answer.

Don't know if it's still the case now that gay marriage is allowed, but in the UK the psychiatrists would demand that the patient get a divorce before they were treated otherwise they couldn't really live in their chosen gender.

I wish we had some kind of hyper-futuristic alien technology to where we could just instantly switch back and forth between male and female whenever we want. That's probably what would suit me best
Genuinely speaking, I'll be feeling different ways. Some days I'm all male and I love it, others I feel more trans-y. This isn't anything new, it's always been that way. I go back and forth, but transitioning is such a massive irreversible thing I wouldn't dare with how much I fluctuate.

Just to prove a point, I took some photos of some Transsexual Thai Ladyboys and showed them to my heterosexual friends back home in US. They all agreed the women were extremely hot, attractive and would go with any of them.
I asked them again, to pick out which ones were Ladyboys. After initial shock, they struggled to picked out one or two. I informed them they were all Ladyboys.
