Missed it by that much..... True story....

RE: Missed it by that much..... True story....
My brother and his friend are very good with curries and chillis, but they could barely eat a small bite of the pepper and took over an hour to recover. It's only a about the size of a walnut too.

I was okay in half an hour after eating a full one.

I felt like my chest was going to explode, my eyes were watering and my mouth wouldn't stop drooling, I had terrible stomach ache and my bowls were fucked for 3 days.

If I had eaten two at once it might have given me a heartattack and I'm not even overweight.

After the half an hour when my chest pains went and I stopped drooling and eyes watering, I felt extremely high in mood. That really did hurt so good in the end. That felt amazing.

I'm guessing you couldn't handle a full ghost pepper... I wouldn't recommend it. My brother's friend had to order it from Pakistan using Ebay and it's only in the last few years that it wasn't in the Guinness Book Of World Records...

If you have to sign a waver at a food joint to eat it, probably isn't a good idea to do so.

Man vs Food, is another show that bothers me, I am fine up until they get to the bullshit "eat this unsafe amount" dare crap. I like the show because it is neat some combos owners come up with, but any sane doctor would tell you trying to go beyond what your stomach can take, is dangerous, especially if it is repeated.

Yeah, like what I did couldn't be done on a regular basis. As a one off I decided to do it as an experiment of my pain tolerance and chili/spice sensitivity.
