Pfizer withdraws drugs from being used in executions

Pfizer withdraws drugs from being used in executions
The outside pressure on the US against executions seems to be mounting. Pfizer has withdrawn from supporting states that use their drugs in executions. Now, I'm under no delusions that Pfizer or all the other drug companies, are doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. I's bad publicity, plain and simple. And they can't have it.

Which opens all kinds of doors to cruel and unusual. And may I note that your typo of "char" pretty much sums it up.

Oh well.

Just use firing squads or hanging.

Firing squads are apparently used in some states. Bullets are pretty cheap.

Put it this way, I'd rather be shot than injected if I were to be executed.

Yeah, for the reason of making killing someone look more humane. Window dressing. Can't blame the drug companies for not playing ball. They want to sell drugs on the USP of healing people, not killing them.

Can't get cheaper than air.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Finally, you can cure your erection problems AND support a good cause at the same time!
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
