Loophole city. They can always make excuses for their fucking god.

I've often pointed out the mental gymnastics they use to rationalize their beliefs. But they just continue to rationalize...

RE: Going to church
I don't really know where else to post this... Okay, so the school I'm going to has a little chapel inside it, and during homeroom on Fridays, some teachers will take their kids to mass. Most teachers will go every few Fridays, and some teachers will bring their class only one Friday a month. It's just my luck that I had to get the one teacher that goes to mass EVERY F***ING FRIDAY. (I know this because my dad teaches there) How will I survive this? Sorry if I just sound like I'm complaining, but I'm serious, does anyone have any ideas on how to pass the time?

Our Roman Catholic church had nice pictures on the walls, I could look at the details for hours. I was a bit spoiled as our church was an exact scale replica of St. Peters cathedral of Rome.

They don't allow those, and I'm not a music fan. (But it would be better than that drivel)

To what scale?

Does that mean you sat on itty bitty chairs, looking at an itty bitty altar?

I've got it you live in a community of midgits!

What would happen if you simply refused to go? Why can't you go to the library while they take the rest of the class to indoctrination?

Well, from what I've heard, the homeroom teacher is the strictest in the school. She WILL give you detention. If you're not properly shaved? Detention. If your shirt's not tucked in? Detention. I shiver at the thought of disobeying Mrs. Hertlein...

Martin Luther King (among others) went to jail for what he considered to be a noble cause. You saying you don't want to spend a lousy hour in detention to stand up for what is right?
