Got no horse in the American race, but funnily enough I get 98 percent Bernie and 97 percent Hillary. 12 percent Trump doesn't come as big surprise.

Don't know if the link is available to others, but here goes.

Yeah. Yeah it does make you sick.

Hillary will never debate Bernie.
Trump will never debate Bernie.

There is enough shit you can throw at both of them it's not even funny at this point.

Trump lied about donating to the veterans. Heck he pissed off pretty much mexicans and illegals good people mind you who live here.
Then even said were gonna kick out the muslims... like what does he even realize how many muslims serve in our armed forces you just
can't do that...

Hillary lied about having permission for the private server.  Heck she even pissed off native americans with a certain comment.

I did it before, and I got like 96% Bernie. Hillary and Jill stein weren't far behind. No republican candidate was close.

This is an important point. Hillary's *policies* are very close to Bernie's (or, at least, *far* closer than anyone else's). People who vote on the content of a politician's beliefs and message will gladly vote for one if the other is no longer running. People who care more about the "I support X" part than the "because X will be good for America" part are, well... not thinking things through, I'll say, charitably.

The problem is, Hilay's policies are what she says now to get elected. What are her intentions on actually carrying them through? Will she be like Obama who dropped so much of his election platform because he didn't want to disappoint his corporate backers or will she be like FDR who had a genuine change of heart and followed through on the policies he adooted toboutflank Huey Long?

If the first, she'll be slightly better than Trump; if the second, and she can carry the party with her, she could kill the Republicans for at least a generation.

At this point I really believe that this Fall will be very entertaining because the Trump campaign will crash and burn in such epic proportions like we haven't seen it in a few decades. What I don't believe is that Hillary will ever turn into an idealist.

RE: Well times up Hillary
PZ Myers had a pretty interesting and thoughtful take on Bernie/Hillary this past Wednesday, one which tacks pretty closely to my own opinions:

Quote:The only way Sanders can win now, and he knows it, is to get all those undemocratic superdelegates to unilaterally switch over to vote for Sanders, ignoring the popular vote, which makes them even more undemocratic. He can’t do that without betraying the a core principle of his campaign, that he’s representing the will of the people.

My wife and I are Sanders supporters. He’s the guy we want, because we want someone to shake up the status quo (in a positive way, not a Trumpian way). We stayed up late to listen to his speech, because face it, the campaign has basically been over for weeks, and his further efforts are becoming quixotic. I wanted to see the man address the reality.

He didn’t. He lost California, New Jersey, Montana, South Dakota, and New Mexico, and won North Dakota. And he vowed to fight on to the very last primary in Washington DC, which is sort of defiantly virtuous, I suppose, but it isn’t going to help. Worse, I listened to his audience, and when he mentioned Hillary Clinton (graciously!), they booed. This worries me, because Sanders has two paths to take at this point.

One, he ignores the data and goes to the convention in Philadelphia, determined to get his way, with his supporters determinedly anti-Clinton. Clinton simply ignores him, takes the official nomination on the first ballot, and starts campaigning against Trump without looking back. This is where “fighting” gets him: he loses, and he loses influence.

Two, he recognizes reality, admits he lost to the better politician, and goes to Clinton and tells her that he can deliver the general election to her — he does have a solid base of support. Then he gets concessions on the party platform, maybe has a say in the vice presidential pick, and in return pledges to campaign for her against Trump. If he wants influence, he’s got to stay in the loop with Clinton for the next six months and beyond.

And to do that effectively, he’s got to stop fighting and start working to get his supporters who are booing Hillary Clinton on board with the election that counts.

Hillary Clinton is not the candidate I wanted, but she’s competent and will be decent middle-of-the-road president. She will be a better president if she listens to and respects the voice of Bernie Sanders, and that’s what I want to see happen in the near future.

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.
