To me it just shows that they haven't really thought about it (whatever 'it' is) and really don't want to either. It's just a way for them to make themselves feel superior to believers. They pretend that atheism is the only rational approach then proceed to put their stupidity on display.
Sometimes it's best not to argue... Just let them talk

The concept of Hell is the same - a rejection of God which leads to great eternal unhappiness after death.
The depth of our understanding naturally evolves as we learn more and study more. I have no problem with this. Also, I had already posted that exact article in my thread about Hell several months ago: http://atheistforums.org/thread-35781.html
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

If you then talk about the denizens of Hell being separated from God, that is simply in a personal/relational sense. In that sense, they do not have the experience of the presence of God.
Imagined problem solved.
Is God in my asshole? Or does he just know what's going on in my asshole while sustaining it? Can I experience the presence of God in my asshole?
@Chad, I have taken to adding people like this to my ignore list. It cleans up my thread and I really don't have to worry about missing something.

I find I end up doing kinda the same, sometimes.

The concept of Hell--unless reserved only for the worst of the worst--would make Casper a pretty big fucking asshole. I mean if that's the creator of our universe, he's not 'god', he's just named God because nobody can do what needs to be done with him.

Some people here are interested in actual discussion and in coming to a better understanding of what our actual beliefs are, even if so they can more accurately rebuke them. Which is completely fine, and makes for productive discussion.
Others are not interested in that at all.

Yeah. Like if I just came into a thread to call you a doody-head without making a response or pointing out something about your statements, that adds nothing to the argument.
But you're also a doody-head~

It was a serious question. You won't answer it because either you have to say yes or say that God is not omnipresent. I'm asking a childish question to poke holes in your childish beliefs.

In a christian worldview gods, demons and magic exist, but rectums, farts and b*tt-plugs - don't...
