I couldn't agree more, but nothing annoys me more than someone calling someone else racist when they actually aren't. I respect Constable and can understand how that post in question was probably offensive, but it isn't racist.

Racist remains a strong word in my vocabulary, if no one else's. That comment isn't racist, it's stupid, so pathetically stupid that no one should even be offended by it.

For me, any maligning of a whole cultural group because of the real or perceiced attributes of a single member or sub-set of that group is racism. And what Wooters did was malign the whole of the Irish cultural group because of an attribute he imagines I have.

I just didn’t take you objection seriously. Bodies in motion stay in motion and bodies at rest stay at rest until acted upon by another. In your example, it is already in the nature of light to travel straight so no causal agent is needed for it to continue doing so.
