If i were to study religion then it would be a whole in my knowledge. But i am not concerned with religion as i have more important things to concern myself with. My initial statement was a general opinion not a desire for religious knowledge.

A hole is not the whole. But even as an atheist, I think it's important to keep tabs on religious thought.

To blame this tragedy on religion is to turn a blind eye to mental health disorders.
I don't know the state of affairs in America, but I would be more inclined to blame the government for lack of funding.
That and the ignorance the general public have towards mental health.
Possibly many tragedies could be avoided if people picked up symptoms earlier and there was help to be had.

If the god fantasy delusion did not exist (heaven, hell, reward, punishment, not deserving to live, saving through death) would she have chosen an alternate delusion to fixate on? Maybe one with potentially less deadly outcomes? We can only speculate.

Well LL we had a good mental health institution Reagan is really to blame for his shameful actions.
The surgeon general to get a warning label on the bible for those suffering with mental illness.

I'm not trying to warn anyone. It wasn't a warning about ignorance but a reality about it. You see, a person can read my posts yet still interpret it in a way it wasn't intended to be interpret. Just because you keep tabs on religious thought doesn't mean you understand it.
