Can I just say, and I'm just being honest...
RE: Can I just say, and I'm just being honest...
I didn't delete anyone from social media. I just closed my fb account. Again. Heh

I'll take PM again. I don't think I can open fb in a while.

Where do I go from here? Well... looks like I might be moving to California soon. That would be nice. My lower back still hurts from the car crash, and my car just got smashed into again last night. California sounds just about right.

CIJS?
I don't care. You told my sister and parents that you're worried about me and that you feel guilty because you had no idea how bad things were until yesterday. That's my fault, Yo. I do that. I say, oh, don't worry. It's not that bad. I'll be fine. I can handle it. Then I panic and you shrug and laugh, "Staaaahp, girl. Stop acting crazy. Just relax." I snap at you for not understanding why I'm so stressed and then you sit there confused. My fault. I don't want people fixing things for me, so I don't say anything, but I expect you to understand when I'm too stressed out to hang out. Well, I just said goodbye to a friend of years due to my loss of patience. Patience for what? Love? Care? The fact that you want to help? Thank you. Thank you. I'm sorry I do this.

Having said that, I love my two boys. So much. That's why I'm still here trying to find a way to fix everything with out making things harder for all of us. People try to help, but their intentions make things worse. They have no idea. I very much wish I could naturally die and this way I wasn't an irresponsible parent by taking my own life. But it seems I'm healthy, except for anxiety. So here I am. Alive to my fucking disappointment.

How does that compare with what the players gain?

It was that realization that got me off football... Too much money for a poor show.

Well, your definition of "poor show" must be different from mine. My team is one win away from the biggest game in all of sports. The level of excitement and intensity that I experience is unmatched. I mean, last week before the last meaningful play I was literally pacing in front of the TV, texting my dad, my brother, and one of my best friends while tweeting frantically at sportswriters and my favorite Steelers bloggers.

The Steelers have two of the most amazing and incredible players to watch play the game in my lifetime, and maybe of all time.

I am happily committed.

Lol...texting and tweeting... How about watching the game? Tongue

Has the game changed on the last 10 years? 20 years? Or is it basically the same thing?
Do they come up with new things? Or is it always the same sort of thing?

But then again...our football is a much less brutal than yours, so maybe my falling out of it is more justified... Boring poor show.

Well, as you may know, there is a bit of down time between plays in American Football.... plenty of time for tweeting and texting.

It has changed quite a bit in the last 10 years specifically. There are rules tweaks every year, and lately they have been taking big swings towards making the game safer and more competitive. Big plays are way more common because the rules have favored offenses quite a bit.

Also, one of the players, Le'Veon Bell, is changing the game with his patient running. He seems to just shuffle behind the line before bursting through, it is incredible to watch.

Unlike football on this side, the clock is always ticking, the gameplay is always the same... Sometimes, there's one guy that has some fancy footwork and a nice kick.... but that hasn't changed much... it's just boring.

I saw that GIF a bunch of times... and don't get it...
So the guy can run quickly... so what?
It's much more impressive when a guy can run quickly, faster than the others, AND he has to kick the ball forward at the same time... kinda like this:

Then there are few pretty team plays like this

But, for the most part.... it's 90 minutes of same-old!... and not worth my time.

I just now heard on NFL Network that Bell has spent 16 *minutes* with the ball, behind the line of scrimmage this year, which is ridiculous and nonsensical and awesome.

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

He's not especially quick. He's a big, tall running back. He doesn't have a lot of long touchdowns because he gets caught from behind on long runs.

It's his patience that is groundbreaking. He sits behind the offensive line and bounces and stutters until a hole opens up, then he slashes through it. This goes against everything every running back has been taught their whole lives. You run "North and South" and don't waste any time. It's hard to find good GIFs that demonstrate this, because the way Lev Bell is successful is that he gets 7 yards a carry. Which is not splashy, but is wildly successful.

That's so awesome. He's one of four people to ever have back to back 150 yard rushing games in the postseason. The other names are Franco Harris, Terrell Davis, and Marcus Allen. That's a fucking list, right there.
