I feel a bit relieved.
RE: I feel a bit relieved.
See, the difference between what I said and what you said is that I mentioned statistical evidence to support my assertions, while you just threw out another one of your stupid little analogies.

Mental illness is not the only reason people do wrong things, and it's really fucked up and bigoted for you to even suggest that (especially when others are willing to concede that religion isn't the source of all evil). You're trash.

Shitfan
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

Just look in the US where most massacres in the last 30 years were committed by non religious people.
You never thought about it Expired, did you?  Demon

Are we not talking about a specific event here? The attack in Orlando was a religiously motivated attack. I was not making any comment about previous events, learn to read dickhead.

Imbecile.  Hi

I wouldn't care less if your agenda is all about the Orlando massacre.
I on the other hand care to talk about massacres in general because in this thread most atheists
keep on blaming God for all evil on earth.
If you don't like then jump in the lake.  Banging Head On Desk

This of course doesn't mean you should leave the forum.

Oh, I see.  Lightbulb
Now you want to show examples in which wrong things were not done by mentally sick people.

There is a point that most atheists never think Banging Head On Desk  about and that is the fact that religions DO NOT represent God.
They say they do but they contradict themselves time and time again.
If you still haven't got the point let me remind you.
Omar Mateen was a religious fanatics.
His interpretation of God was twisted in such a way that he did what he did.
All this is the opposite of what God would like to see so no religions do not represent God.
The crusades had the same twisted mind when they were butchering innocent people.
God has nothing to do with all this that is why I open this thread.
Just for saying that God shouldn't be blamed for these massacres.
I never intended to talk about religions in the first place.
You guys then involve religions not me.  Indubitably

I repeat: what the fuck is wrong with you? Fucking grow up, for fuck's sake.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I really don't know what to say to that, except excuse me for associating religion with god.

Why deviate from the subject of your initial thread? For this incident, I believe we are in agreement that religion and mental sickness is a contributing factor.

From an Atheist perspective, there are concerns when Religion is taken to the ultimate extreme. There is no ability to rationalize. If someone takes a hardcore religious stance that people who think differently are evil and Old Testimate passages calls for their destruction, that is concerning.
