1 John 4:1 compared to The No True Scotsman Fallacy and sophisms

Popular logic will always be logical because it is still logic?

You'll need to define what you mean by logic.

Most Christians here will swear that God is a logical conclusion.
We need more specific information.
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

If it was popular to say Einstein was a complete fool, do you think they would be being logical ?

Do you agree with the Oxford Dictionary definition of logic ?

Do you think it's possible that The bible was put together by people who were thinking lets show God doing evil things and expect them to believe that God is good and that The Bible is the perfect word of God or do you think it's possible that bad parts were added to corrupt it to mislead people into believing the wrong things ?

Do you think you can prove no bad parts were added to The Bible to corrupt it and mislead people and that The Bible wouldn't be perfect if those bad parts were taken out ?

ignoramus, you may look at my answers above.

The bible wasn't written in a day, and when you look at the stories you can see the traces of mentality from those varied times. To an outsider god's acts seem bad, but think from the perspective of a small tribe, if they have a supernatural entity aiding them and killing their enemies, then for them that entity is good. If in their society females are treated like shit, then the "good" and moral god from their perspective would have to conform to that mentality as well...

As for moses and jesus, I don't really care what one fictional character says about another..

We may discuss.

Thomas,

I think you need to describe what you are thinking more fully.   There seems to be more behind what your are trying to get at, but we can't know that.

LadyForCamus,

If someone said to you that someone isn't a Christian and then you worked to use The No True Scotsman Fallacy to show them how you think they were wrong to say that and then later you looked at the words in 1 john 4:1, do you think you would judge yourself wrong for working to prove what you wanted by The No True Scotsman Fallacy ?

Why would one look to justify their actions by a book when they believe that book to be bs to begin with?
