Was the referendum even legal? https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...wful-eu-uk

FFS, get your act together UK.

Yes, one of the MPs was talking live with Australian reporter Laura Jayes (in London) talking to MP Andrew Percy, she got a live breakthrough that Michael Grove was going to run, she asked Percy about it - he agreed with her that he'd probably be running with Boris as the deputy, cut for about 5 minutes of Australian reporter, cut back to her and this happened:

Even Percy had no idea it was coming! It was interesting telly though.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke

I am very disappointed.  I was looking forward to months of comparable Johnson/Drumpf memes and now you Brits have ruined it.

Ahh Malveira... I've had some nice steaks in a restaurant, there... Wink

Yeah, the weekly market is good too lots of goods there. Too bad is at every thursday. Work time for most. I am a bit up north. Kinda half way to Torres Vedras. The HQ of the system of forts called "linhas de Torres" was here. Arthur Wellseley slept here. You know, to keep the french out of our beach. The English helped with the royal navy. It is a shame they had cowered in the most important time, The time to end war and be together. Still, we have an alliance with England. I thought of the dumb fucks better.

What? Should he lie or at least sugar coat it? From where I stand, it doesn'look like it.

That depends on whether you have a freezer or even much fridge space to store what you have cooked so you can reheat it for another day (never reheat rice unless you want to risk an infection). If you were cooking for others as well it would certainly be cheaper.

If you do start cooking then steamers are very cheap and very healthy. We use a steamer for all our vegetables. It locks in all the nutrients. You can even use it for rice.

Do you have access to a garden or an allotment or know anyone with an overgrown garden that needs help? If you can grow your own food and can get your hands on tools then it becomes even cheaper and healthier. These are all useful skills to learn in case the shit hits the fan.

Odd. I reheat rice all the time. I never knew you shouldn't...

Quote:Uncooked rice can contain spores of Bacillus cereus, a bacterium that can cause food poisoning. When the rice is cooked, the spores can survive.

If the rice is left standing at room temperature, the spores can grow into bacteria. These bacteria will multiply and may produce toxins (poisons) that cause vomiting or diarrhoea.

The longer cooked rice is left at room temperature, the more likely it is that the bacteria or toxins could make the rice unsafe to eat.

Fascinating!

Actually I don't read any of the major newspapers. I just googled "Brexit" and one of the links Google gave me for recent news was the Guardian article about Boris. I found the other articles via that link.
