Indeed. It won by the slenderest of majorities but will have a fundamental and unwelcome change to the future of Britain. It is an irreversible and terrible mistakle made by people who mostly did not understand what they were voting for. They seemed to think it was something about immigrants and giving the NHS more money and it was neither.

Immigration is an important issue, and we have the right to secure our borders. We're a small Island and can't just accept everyone. Even you know this. As for the NHS money - certain individuals said it could be used for the NHS. Nobody promised anything.

Do you think the EU will agree to closed or semi-open borders with the UK though? The UK want access to the European market, and the EU have been pretty adamant about having open borders as a requirement.

The Money for the NHS was all the way down the side of the bus in letters four feet high, it was the centre point of their whole campaign but you are right it wasn't a promise it was a con a lie a devise to trick the population into voting for stupidity.
And the immigrant situation will in no way be touched by the EU vote.
Most immigration that people find offensive is from no EU countries.
And what of the hundreds of thousands of British living in EU countries will they all have to come back.

It is in the EUs best interests to punish Britain to deter any other leavers.

Right, so it appeared on the side of a bus? It's saying that funding our NHS with that money is a possibility but it's still not a promise.

It's true that some Immigration is from the Commonwealth, nobody is denying that. A lot of it however does come from the EU as well. Plus, it wasn't all about Immigration anyway.

Have you been paying attention to the news? May is going to try negotiate a deal with the EU to keep the current EU migrants here as long as the Brits in the EU can stay where they are. We're not going to deport thousands like you seem to think, providing they don't deport our citizens.

No idea, we'll just have to wait and see.

But we could survive without them anyway - plenty of nations, including China, want to do business with post-Brexit Britain.
