I don't agree with your opinion of the referendum, Rob but kudos for posting Mitchell & Webb, one of the funniest series ever.
I agree it really is.
I like Peep Show even more. (June 30, 2016 at 1:21 pm)Bella Morte Wrote: I don't agree with your opinion of the referendum, Rob but kudos for posting Mitchell & Webb, one of the funniest series ever. Thank you ![]() I agree, the scenario in the video might be a very slight exaggeration of Britain as it is today

No they won't, because as a result of losing that money on the market wipe, the pension funds now no longer have the money to recover the losses. The way market based pensions work is very reactive, when shares go up they buy after the rise starts, when shares go down they sell after the drop starts. Thus market based pensions tend not to be able to exploit gains properly and also tend to be overexposed to adverse market shocks. It happened in 2008, with most pension funds, even at this stage, being nowhere close to where they were before the banking crisis, and the same result will eventuate out of the recent shock to the market because of Brexit.

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
![]() Lmao. Yes I just meant economy not British economy
Tell me, Evie, is Brexit just the beginning? Are you guys going to try and conquer the world again?
Nah. Brexit is an idealistic idea by idealists following the wrong ideals. It's false hope for 'taking back control' when all this does is limit out influence within a union we are still going to have to trade with, and mess our economy up in the meantime.
Britain can't and won't conqueror anything. Especially considering over half the voters voting to damage our economy shows that foolishness appears to be in command right now. I think if it isn't vetoed and we exit the EU, we may be begging to get back in at a later date. |
