But Islam-- as well as Judaism-- both state that Jesus is NOT the "messiah." They are not Christian sects, however they have made very unequivocal statements about Jesus (in the Koran and in the Talmud) that are "false" according to the vast majority of Christians.

Also this notion that "false" Christian sects fall because of Christological heresies doesn't jive with the fact that Unitarian-Universalists, Quakers are still around today (to name only two that immediately come to mind)-- their views on Jesus are hardly "orthodox."

And historically, many Christian sects have died out not because of some god, but because other people with other ideologies and agendas wiped them out. There's nothing metaphysical about the gallows.

Have you been reading Lost Christianites the reason I ask this because your response resembles what it teaches.
I do believe I said most have come to an end.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

No, you did not use the word "most":

"God has said that He would always expose the false teachings about Him and this is why the false christian sects have fallen."

I don't see the word "most" in there, referring to Christian sects.

And I don't know what "Lost Christianities" is...

Yes I went back and checked should have done that before responding, my apologies.

How can Jesus be fully man and fully god. Man is limited, god unlimited. This is a straightforward logical contradiction. Without hiding behind any mysterious response how do you reconcile this?

A guy who did Divinity degree at the top evangelical christian theology college in Australia, told me once that Christians need to accept the inherent tension between Christ's divinity and humanity. Also he was a Calvinist who like wise said about the inherent tension between god's sovereignty and human responsibility.
