Adding adverts that only appeared for logged out users seemed like a good compromise, because ultimately nobody who joins the site saw them, but they still generated sufficient revenue to pay for the site bills.

All of this because of one butthurt individual, who can't even come on this thread and say "thank you" for making a rule change.



Yeah. I said it. And I don't care. ALL of the staff here do a tremendous job at making things run smoothly here. They work hard and don't get paid a red cent to do any of it. And now, because of the direction that one stinkin thread took, we now have this. More limitations than what we had before. And what we had before wasn't an issue for over 9000 other members. So ain't that some crap.

Ever since I suspect I have a human heart, I've toned down my posts from red hot chili peppers to plain ol' honey mustard. If it were a couple years back, I'd probably be doomed. Sheeeeyet. I have the urge to say something now probably edgy. Oops. I said urge. What's happening?!

Literally the only thing that has changed is laying out the child pornography rule in a more obvious manner.

Porn, even in a literary sense, was already against the rules. I personally don't agree that a butt is pornographic but hey thems the breaks kid.

I could be wrong. I don't see us cracking down on a blueberry hill joke, but just the ones that are explicitly sexual. We'll see how things go. I'll be on my best behavior with you because knowing me I'm liable to have to ban myself

The mod tag is the tag for the moderator notices. Adding mod approval for pictures is ridiculous. But if it came to that I am sure they'd manage no problem. There's eight moderators and five admins.

mod approval would have been just for iffy/borderline pics.  no need to have the mods looking at kittens and turtles in easter baskets

I know. I have terrible feeling I'm going to mourn the loss of my beloved ark orgy as well. I don't think we should panic though. I love this place. We'll get used to this and I'm sure everyone will find some new thing to complain about soon enough
