Not sure what the percentage is. Looks like .51 per 5 bucks our about 10%.
If you donated $5.56 a month, that would be $5 net for the site.

Ohhh... maybe I'll just do a flat $10 to help cover costs for those who wanted to donate, but who are falling on rough times. Ya know? It's the only way I can think of to step up and help more. I've always wanted to donate, but paypal requires a checking account, which my ex fucked up for me, so I don't have one. Pateron solves this problem for me nicely.

I think I'm gonna stick with Paypal donations but just on account of the tax thing and the fact that the other site takes a cut. But I'm wondering if there are other sites that could be useful for this like 'JustGiving'... which I think doesn't take a cut and makes its money in other ways.
Paypal gets a cut as well.... just an FYI.

Yeah, the cut is rough, but PayPal takes a cut, too. You just don't see it as the sender.
For me, its all about the set and forget. I don't have to keep sending anything, it's like a bill for services rendered, comes out of my account every month.
