Even if Daniel Dennett is just guessing, isn't guessing an application of imagination? As in the thing that those who don't agree with OP - id est, everyone - allegedly possess a limitless lack of (however the fuck that's meant to work)?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I have imagination but I don't believe that everything I imagine or dream is real. For instance when I watch "X-Files" or "Lord Of The Rings" I don't think that that is realty, that's the difference. Knowing line between imagination and reality does not mean not having imagination.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Imagination should be a precursor to scientific investigation, not a replacement for it.

Well his bedroom is a lot more comfy than Alex's, with all the padding and all, so he's got that going for him which is nice... Shy
