My mother is a Jew who converted to Catholicism. Being raised Catholic with a Jewish mother is a unique experience of uber guilt. She literally built a chapel in our back yard. She actually deconverted to become a Lutheran recently and has mostly softened on many religious issues. I think largely because she has 6 Atheist or Agnostic children.
