4 Officers Shot Dead By Snipers, 7 Wounded in Dallas Protest Against Police Violence

Too much anger and waayy too many guns on the streets.  Sorry combo.

If the shooters are blacks looking for pay back that's one thing.  If they are muslims who sensed a target of opportunity that's something else.

And if they are right-wing anti-government nut jobs let's see what the media calls them?

I'm willing to peacefully march and carry signs with my child against police brutality or in any cause to show solidarity with the disenfranchised. But when there's a risk of getting gunned down? Nope.

Would you march to show solidarity to the innocent cops that have been killed?  Rolleyes

Yes, of course. I started the thread because I'm upset that these law enforcement officers were deliberately targeted.

Edit to add: Ironically, the snipers likely have turned off people to the idea of (peacefully) protesting against police brutality.

I call anyone who holds a gun an idiot.

They're all domestic terrorists. I would argue that members of the BLM movement targeting mostly white police officers is a hate crime as well.

This is why we need every citizen 16 or older armed to the teeth. If we were all more prepared and vigilant, that sniper would have been gunned down before that guy hit his third target. Of course, those who are aroused to violence would then also be armed to the teeth. That just might be part of the problem.

So what is so special about Dallas, Texas that everyone wants to bomb it?

More than a few residents are armed.
