I love sharing food. If someone's hungry they can eat half of what I got. I'll offer.
However, when I'm working in a big kitchen with 10 or 20 people and I'm preparing finger foods for a function, don't touch or I'll cut your fucking head off. :-)

In my dating days, I had more than one firm discussion with my companion about taking food off my plate. Don't tell me you're not ordering chips and then forage from my side of the table. You don't want dessert? Fine, but don't for a minute think that gives you leave to have 'just a bite' of mine. If you want dessert, say so, I'll pay for your dessert. This actually caused a girl I was with to leave the restaurant in a huff. She took one bite of my apple tart and when I glared at her, she giggled and took a second bite.
