Pshhh. That's exactly what you conservatives want. Write in Bernie Sanders if you don't want to vote for one of these candidates. Vote for the Congressional, state, and local candidates, which are really far more important than president. Don't stay home.

Again, dyre, if you're really for what Bernie Sanders stood for, then doing your best to elect progressives in the Senate/House and your state's legislature is way more important. The only way the change we want actually happens is if we elect legislators who will enact those changes. The executive branch isn't the route that happens.

On the contrary, the whole political system is corrupt. The elected officials who sit in the lower offices are just as dirty and rotten as those running for the highest office. There's no real progressives. They're all in the tank for Wall Street. Even Bernie betrayed his principals and his supporters by endorsing Hillary.

This email in particular (https://wikileaks.org/dnc-emails/emailid/11508) shows utterly disgusting behavior, trying to get the media to question Sanders about his religious beliefs before two primaries.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned after the fact, which is on the same lines as the captain being the first to leave a sinking ship. Not proof of character but of the absence thereoff. I don't know if her resignation makes things better or worse, but it certainly isn't a bold step but a cowardly one.

These emails also show that there's no desire for change in any of the two parties. They're both in the pocket of donors and not representatives of the people. And don't you dare to present Trump as being any better. He already sucks up to donors and hopes to achieve it by his choice of running mate.

I'm unsure how staying home and not voting at all will change things. Care to enlighten me?

You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Getting out to vote for a corrupt candidate isn't going to change anything either. The political cesspool will still be corrupt either way. Why bother with the aggravation. You're screwed either way, unless you know of an untarnished politician. Stay home. Eat, drink, and be merry. Leave the corruption to the sheep who vote in crooked politicians.

Meanwhile, all the conservatives go out and vote in droves. You couldn't be any more transparent.

To speak in absolutes like there are no good elected officials is straight from the Donald Trump playbook. He's got you good.

Not me. But you go ahead and vote for the corruption like a good and loyal brainwashed little lamb. This election year is a good time to stay home. You're screwed either way. You know of one untarnished politician?

I don't know of an untarnished person. To expect anything approaching perfection with an elected official is just childish and naive.

He endorsed her because he considers her the lesser evil. At least on a social level. I know you don't subscribe to something like that, but Hillary is on the lines of Bernie when it comes to same sex marriage and other social issues. Which can't be said about the opposing side.

But I agree on the system being corrupt. In the States still a bit more than in the rest of the world. But we're catching up fast. The last politicians I remember actually doing something for the people, even if it cost them, were in office in the late 70ies, early 80ies.

Anyone here see the logic and appropriateness of either Bernie Sanders or a Sandersite being the next DNC chairperson ??

Additionally, the Jewish/atheist thing is really pissing me off. How high a fucking price am I looking at just to have Hillary getting some SCOTUS picks ??
