And plenty of people use 'God' in different ways. If someone asks you to define how you're using the term 'God' and you simply refuse and then insult them for not being to answer the question... that's not a good look.

Thou shalt not be a pettily pedantic.
But at the same time, you're being a lot more respectful than normal lately
Oh, the fucking irony in calling me pedantic in this thread, of all the people.

I thought we were talking about benny. Rob is very disingenuous as well, it just comes so naturally to him he doesn't see it, nor do most other people.
I can't comment on benny. I don't know benny. Rob is not disingenuous.

At some point you should stop digging, EP.

I'm still going to have to ask you what you mean, or I'm still going to have to answer that I don't know. From my perspective, you are asking "Do you believe in x?" I don't know, since I don't know what that term represents.
While there are things others call God religiously and we may believe in them, that doesn't mean we believe in Gods unless we specifically think of them as Gods as well. So, once again, benny, do you believe in any Gods or not?
Do you believe in boobledyboo, or not?
Look, we can do this dance all day. If you want to know if there's anything I call "God," then I'd say only good orgasms and good League of Legends junglers. If you want to know if I believe in one of a variety of gods and deities, then you'll have to define them.

Oh, yes, you can, because that is exactly what happens when you don't understand something. You don't (yet) believe in it. It is a lack of belief. Which when it comes to gods we call atheism. This is why we say we are all born atheists, yet benny apparently isn't. And this is exactly where most of you are disingenuous. You hold patently contradictory beliefs for the sake of defending someone from being criticised for his fallacious thinking by me.

I meant everyone else is being pedantic, beginning with benny.

Or you can be honest for one second and stop pretending you don't understand what I'm asking you.
I'm asking whether you hold a theistic or deistic belief in a god, not about semantics. If you don't hold such a belief in any entity, then you are an atheist. If you do hold such a belief in an entity, then you are a theist.

If you don't understand what "God" means but it means "mount Everest" then that would be a definition of God you believed in before you knew what it meant, because you've always believed mount Everest exists.
