Define any gods, and I'll answer the question.  What is "a god" to you?

If it's an entity that is massively intelligent and lives much longer than a human being does, and could wipe out huge chunks of humanity at a whim, then I think it's definitely possible.  If it's the Christian Skydaddy, I think it's definitely impossible.

Please stop asking poorly defined questions and demanding a yes or no answer.  You don't get to determine the nature of my answer, unless I get to determine the nature of your question.

It is a simple question benny, do you believe in any gods or not. You're evading, big surprise there.

But he's not.

If he believed even in one god, he would know. He'd tell me so. Since he isn't telling me so, the only other option is he doesn't believe in any gods.

Notice I wasn't asking him about the possibility that a God might exist. I was specifically asking him whether he believes in one or not.

He is an atheist. He just doesn't like to identify as one. That's fine, but he's still an atheist. He can take it up with the dictionary if he has a problem with that.

Dude, if you want me to answer the question, tell me what gods are. Do I believe in Zeus? No.
Do I believe there are probably super-intelligent, long-living creatures somewhere out there who could wipe out humanity at a whim? Probably yes.

Unless you are willing to define the term, you might as well ask me if I believe in fill-in-the-blank. Fill in your own blank, and I'll be able to answer your question. Until then, what can I say? I don't know if I believe in _____, because I don't know what _____ means to you.

What's this "one" god stuff?  It's not like I'm selecting from a group of gods and deciding whether I believe in them or not.  I do not know what the word "god" means to you.  I can imagine some definitions of "god" which I would say must certainly exist, some which certainly cannot exist, and some about which I'd be unsure.

I think I'm making a pretty reasonable request.  You're asking if something exists.  I want you to tell me what the thing is so I can answer your question.  I'm not sure why you'd have a problem with that.

Now that you've given up on forming logical arguments, it is obligatory for you to use more swear words, some cat memes, some head-slap memes, and to accuse me of not being smart enough to understand you.  I would respect you much more if you had posted this:

Because otters are cute, but you're just obnoxious and annoying.
