In my experience, God hates the same people that the Christian invoking his name does.  Which is convenient for the Christian, eh?

As vital as scripture cherry picking is to the continued existence of Christianity, it is just absolutely mind boggling the bible nowhere authorizes it.

Because when jesus freak assholes insist that 100,000 xtian martyrs are being killed by muslims and it turns out that most of them are dying at the hands of other fucking xtians it is safe to dismiss the whole story as bullshit.

Thump, you also aren't omniscient and don't have a master plan your kid is supposed to follow, so that if he deviates from the plan just a tiny bit - you can do all sorts of torturous things to him because he didn't stick with the plan you didn't tell him about in the first place.

You can't have it both ways -- what is getting your head sawn off when eternity in paradise is the reward? Yet you Christians gripe and complain all the same ... almost as if you don't really believe the reward is meted out.
