Dear self:
Choosing a more plant based diet is worth it. Yes, the baked chicken at the store smelled like heaven, and you actually shed a few tears while hiding down the wine aisle, but your body will thank you later. Maybe. One can hope, anyway. Mmm, roasted baby rainbow potatoes, sauteed carrots in honey butter and simple fettuccine with fresh ground pepper was actually really good. Thanksgiving reignited my desire for meat, and I need to tamp it back down. Sigh.

A turkey cobb salad. Probably shouldn't have put dressing on the entire thing; I'm not gonna be able to plow through it all.
The leftovers will be all soggy, tomorrow.  Still...very nice salad. 
Tonight's a spaghetti-and-meatballs kind of night. Going to make up the meatballs in a few minutes. I have some leftover myzithra cheese in the fridge, so I may also brown some butter and make that+myzithra into one of the toppings.
I also bought a brownie. A couple of bites in, I'm like "WTF is wrong with this brownie?"
Package says: "Gluten-free, dairy-free". No wonder. Gawd. 
I warmed up with a couple of white chocolate macadamia cookies (odd for me, I normally don't care for sweets) washed down with some decaf coffee. I'm tucking into leftover pork stew right now. Good stuff.
Homemade carnitas street tacos
Just had a storebought croissant and a Nature Valley bar. I might cook up some biscuit pudding for tomorrow.
