While the willingness to confront the truth was and is a good thing, it sure as hell wasn't a good time, IYKWIM. But I have grown so much in the last year, I look back and wonder, "what the hell were you afraid of?"

Probably growing pains, I think to myself.

I am now able to grab a newborn. I never had one on my hands out of fear. You just have to be carefull about the necks. They are so tiny and fragile and I am big and strong. I now love to hold my tiny daughter in my hands. Words cannot describe what I feel when I hold her to my chest.
