I suggest Darwin's 'The Formation of Vegetable Mould through the Action of Worms, with Observations on their Habits'.

Ready whenever you are.

I hope that's a joke, 'cause I'd need a lot more than a year to read that.

First time in my life I dived in to the reading was when I discovered manga and recently fan fiction of favorite tv shows and games.

I really need to finally do David Hume, Enquiry concerning Human understanding.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

326 pages, and it's a lot less dense than Hume.

Personally, I think we should start with "Conquered by Clippy: An Erotic Short Story"

I don't choose the book. If you can convince a couple of others, we can go ahead and read your book first. I'm voting for Alex's pick, though.

Anyway, I'd say 10 people is a reasonable amount to start off our book club. That, or we settle on a book 2 days from now and start reading it.
