True, you don't.  Good point.  Some people change, some know then they're 7 - - it's more important to learn and THINK (you're doing very well in that area) and not be judgmental than it is to stress over such things.

It's compensating, because if you're a closeted gay, you think that saying or even doing anti-gay stuff is going to throw people off the scent about you.

A lot of gays can spot this compensation very easily, because we've all been there before we came out. I said some downright disgusting things about gay people when I was a teenager. Why? I hadn't accepted it in myself, and I had people questioning my sexuality and wanted them to stop.

I wasn't shocked in the slightest when it came out that Omar Mateen (Pulse nightclub murderer) was a mentally disturbed closet-case gay man with daddy issues, who was in conflict between his religion and his sexuality. I actually expected the news before it came out.

For those saying anti-homosexual people are secretly homosexual, I have to say in some cases it seems to be true-- ministers getting caught with male prostitutes, etc. However, I think in most cases that's probably not the case. Many people hate homosexuality because it seems strange to them, or disgusting, i.e. it "gives them the willies"-- they say so, and I see no reason to disbelieve them, or to say, "Aha! Then you're secretly gay!"

The question is whether anti-homosexual people SHOULD be disgusted, or whether being gay SHOULD be seen as strange. I'd say no, and with enough cultural pressure, hopefully those feelings will vanish and people will be comfortable just getting on with their lives.

Part of the problem is that I know a fair number of 12 year-olds, my daughter being one of them.  While you've done SOME things that make me think you're 12, like making 20 new threads about nothing just because nobody stopped you, you've also done things that I don't think are typical of 12 year-olds-- for example, using derogatory language in a new social environment.  Maybe the 12 year-olds I know are just more innocent and better-mannered than you.  I don't think it's right for someone that age to come onto forums and start calling adults "dicks" for example, whether they are or aren't.  But hey, that's just me.

If you are 12, then I'd agree with the others here that you seem intelligent, and I hope that your inclusion in these forums, with all the old-age bitterness against life that old fogeys have, won't negatively influence your view on the world.  It's fun to be 12, unless you decide that it's not fun.

The reason I use bad language (as I've said for like the 30th time) is to express my attitude and feelings to relive stress.
And please... Maybe some of the 12 year olds you know are dumb and uptight but I'm a year or two younger than people in my grade so I act like those around me. And I don't care what you think is right. I'll say what I want unless there is no point and very disrespectful in comparison to the things I've said. I don't call people dicks unless I have a reason. Such as Little rik/dik. Why do I say this? He said I have a mental illness. I he repeated it and I held back until I couldn't
