Nah, that can't have anything to do with it.

Well yeah.
But what's the point she asks.

Maybe life accidentally arose and started reproducing in many ways.

Then eventually they gained the ability to spread their genes and create new ones and then evolution happend.

There is no point to life. Life creates order, not chaos.

There isn't a point, leastwise not that I can tell, that we don't make for ourselves. Otherwise it's seems to be begging the question.

That question seems to be more of a philosophical question than a scientific one, TBH.

We struggle to survive so we can live long enough so baby jesus can watch us masterbate and send us to hell, that's why!

Just like the universe doesn't care , neither does evolution.
It does what it's been told to do!

Life itself, is a victimless crime....
Not everything in the universe needs a "why". That's what theists are for...
No God, No fear.

The best adapted -as survivors- pass on their traits by default, not by design.

Life is order. And evolution is the increase of DNA order/complexity over time. It's a 5d process, centropic over time.

A completely biological reason why living thing "want" to survive is because most the things that will kill them, hurt....a lot. DNA wants the vessel to not self-destruct long enough to pass structure/function/order forwards through time as procreation.

It is actually a naive question.  You'd like it I suppose because it imports the same assumption that you make .. that life is designed.  It isn't. Life is rife with good survivors because every extant life form is part of a lineage of well adapted survivors.

If there was no repeatable design, your mud and water would leak out everywhere. You must be referring to "intelligent design" yes?
