Jacob was also a nice theist . . . until he lost his faith. Then he became a nice (though somewhat tormented) atheist. And I've known many nice theists in real life. Some of my favorite people are theists.

And those, like ScienceAf, who doubt there are a lot of nice ones need only reflect on the fact that there are door-to-door proselytizers. Those groups don't send out the assholes in their ranks for that sort of activity. You're not in much danger of opening your door some morning and finding Drich standing there, after all.

I know quite a few good theists. I'm dating one of them. My cousin and my uncle are also very awesome people who happen to be theists.

My little brother was a dick when he was a theist and he's a dick now that he's an atheist. Beliefs change quicker than personalities. I still love that little twerp though. He's better than my parents, who are very shitty theists.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

I'd go as far to say that the vast majority of theists are perfectly nice people.
