That's a shame.
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.

I know.

Eitherway if little dik was right about one thing its that I generalize to much.

So there,.Ive learned.

I went from willing to punch an atheist to being one.

I went from being homophobic to bi.

I guess I can change

Good theists... Part 2
Okay fine. You guys did it.
The AF changed my mind once again.
Hooray...

Fyi I'm sorry for generalizeing and things of such nature.
It seems a bit tedious but will y'all forgive me?

Again.

I'll think twice next time.

You remind me of my little brother. I can forgive you.

(I totally didn't say anything about my brother in the last thread Angel )
I don't believe you. Get over it.

I though it was par for the course here, with all the mockery and verbal abuse your atheist friends toss around willy nilly.

Perhaps I should take the cue and move to active aggression? If people can't take it, they shouldn't dish it out and I've been pretty freaking humorous about it all.

But for no other reason, other than you asking, I'll tone it down.

But thanks for the positive reflection! It is appreciated. =) Thumb up

Nope, sorry, doesn't work like that. No human ever or even now has ever had universal evidence for all the god claims in our species history. A history of making claims is not the same as having a history of evidence.

A little bit a Jesus goes a long way eh? Hehe

And I'm one of those crazy people who cares a hell of a lot more about how people act than what they believe.  I know plenty of theists who are amazing people.
Funnily enough, Jesus said the same thing.

What a second here...

Didn't Jesus invent eternal punishment for finite thought crimes?

Oh yeah, John 3:16, John 14:6, Romans 10:9, John 3:3.

He sure seems to care quite a bit about what people believe, and not how they act.

It seems pretty spelled out in Ephesians 2:8-9.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

"Eternal Punishment" From Mark is a miss translation: http://www.tentmaker.org/articles/Eterna...Greek.html

The Greek form for "everlasting punishment" in Matthew 25:46 is ”kolasin aionion." Kolasin is a noun in the accusative form, singular voice, feminine gender and means "punishment, chastening, correction, to cut-off as in pruning a tree to bare more fruit." "Aionion" is the adjective form of "aion," in the singular form and means "pertaining to an eon or age, an indeterminate period of time."

Contradicting passages in the Bible? Oh, say it ain't so!

So then, according to how you interpret it, what will happen to me, an atheist, when I die?
