What is it about a young person questioning these ideas that offends you so? Hasn't he as much of a right to inquiry as the rest of us?

Religious scriptures mostly demand sacrifice or caring for others, which is pinful to do, but its the "right" thing to do no matter what religious views you have.
Believers cant take the pain of the good deeds, so, they start to discuss uselss shit in religion "World was created this way. Jesus is God also. All people must obey our God. Our religion is the true one. I will enjoy in heaven". RE: Why can't creationists look through God?

Bolded mine. That's...kind of really condescending. I've met plenty of atheists on this forum along that I would describe as 'simple people' as well.

The fact that the minority of people are atheists (let alone rational) and that the majority of good scientists are atheist shows that in comparison theists are simple. In a way since they worship archaic scriptures. (September 7, 2016 at 12:46 pm)ScienceAf Wrote:(September 7, 2016 at 12:39 pm)FatAndFaithless Wrote: Bolded mine. Good luck having any meaningful conversations if you enter them with the notion that your discussion partner is 'simple.'
