Church demands the victim apologize to pastor's wife since the pastor did the rape.

This church has Fundie written all over it. The girl is seen as a temptress, leading Mitchell toward sin - which is considered a greater evil than, lets say, disgusting sexual abuse and statutory rape. I'm happy to see that the girl's family didn't meet the demands of this church, and left it behind. What they should do is give Varg Vikernes a phone call and see if he's interested in doing them a small favor.

What's disconcerting is that this Pastor only received half of the maximum sentence. Why? Jesus? Whatever. Let's hope the inmates give him some love, Sodom and Gomorrah style.

As if the family should ever want to attend that church again, after the pastor raped one of them. This is multiple layers of stupid.

Y; know, if Randy Carson were still here, he'd be dancing with glee for yet another tu quoque to lay in defending his own church's evils.

Blaming the victim is part of the islam.

Not in my experience.

Stockholm syndrome, or capture-bonding, is a psychological phenomenon described in 1973 in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with the captors.

And now for todays Stockholm syndrome....guess where...

Better keep your wife's/daughters hair covered, lest she temp other men and need to be stoned. Dodgy

Islam has nothing to do with Islam...or stoning women who are raped. Dodgy

He should get double for betrayal of spiritual trust.

Fucking disgusting. That pastor needs to die. You Americans seem perfectly fine with killing murderers. I wouldn't mind you killing rapists too, especially of this kind.

Why kill him when you can castrate him and give him community service for life?

I've lived in a couple of Muslim countries, Arky.

What he wrote doesn't comport with my experience.

What who wrote? Black Pigeon?

Do you think you would have had a more in depth experience if you lived there as a Muslim of Arabic decent rather than a Caucasian atheist?
