Pretty girls out walking with Gorillas down your street eh Stim.

I was going more on the lines of "half trout half fish", but you have a point as well.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Aside from etymology inferred above, do you have any actual posts indicating he's a fundamentalist Christian?

The only reason I'm going on like this is that as an atheist, I detest it when a believer comes aboard and proceeds to tell me what I think, and believe, and don't believe. For you to do this to Ark when you are going only by etymology seems very similar.

I have seen a number of posts where he has gone full on fundie, and commented specifically on them elsewhere. I work off the principle that if it swims like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck then its a duck. And arkilogue to mee satisfies all those conditions.

Plus I'm not shy putting the boot in when somebody is feeding me rancid bullshit and trying to tell me its me who's wrong when I point it out.

I believe Jesus demonstrated the way to Inheritance and Sons-ship, as others have done before him and others will do afterwards.

His last prayer was for all believers to be one with the Father as he was.

I also believe that life was one of a great many lives for a being that was established complete and whole, at the very beginning of universal expansion. And was the same being as Re/Ra in an Egyptian lifetime. The story of Jesus is far older than Jesus.

So, I'm still confused. Are you saying you are, or are not a Christian?

Reading his post, I'm even more inclined to disagree ... not that it matters.

Great, so you don't just believe in one myth, you believe them all.

Man ape.
Then splits into ape and then a man

"Half man, half ape" is like a half trout, half fish.

Gah, you know what I mean

I'm saying my approach is a process not a static label. It includes core elements of Christianity and I have also found them outside of Christianity. "Christianity" is part of my navigation and path, not a final destination.

Great, so you don't just believe in one myth, you believe them all.

I operate at a level that is not required to believe nor disbelieve them. I peer through them as simple data in transparent comparison. I know I'm looking through many glasses darkly but I'm willing to look through them anyway and through my own developing/evolving lenses. I approach God kaleidoscopically, simultaneously through multiples angles and colors. I also reach out blindly and travel into the dark to feel what I can feel, based on feeling alone.

Myths/paradigms are like Man's mental angels to me. I have wrestled through many of them and there are more to go.

I don't believe "myths". I destroy their forms, dissect their anatomy and distill their parts down to fundamental elements. Much as I am in my mental job trimming trees, to them I am a whirlwind of swords, with my own eye of stillness.
