your views on modern day porn consumption

RE: your views on modern day porn consumption
A few statements on here make me think the last time you watched porn was the 80s and it was about a plumber coming in with his large tool to fix a womans pipes.

Talking about the bad acting and the fakeness of it.  Loads and I mean LOADS of porn is literally as amateur as you can get with no acting. With lots of websites like youporn and xhamster, people uploading their own material theres thousands of videos which are literally a guy and a girl with a cheap camera in a bedroom having sexual intercourse.

No script, no bodies full of plastic surgery, no plot, nothing like that.

I consider myself to be a conisour of porn, there's so much variation in it that you can't really say you don't like the lack of realism or the bad acting, it would be like saying you don't like films from hollywood because they're all about large monsters.

That's not to say I promote every kind of porn either though.  I've talked about it before that a lot of it is so demeaning to the woman involved that I don't like to watch it.

And legal internet porn does involve consenting adults but it doesn't necesserily make it absolutely morally fine.
I mean if you watch some of the porn from Brazil or places where slums and poverty exist in relatively high amounts, a lot of those girls in certain types of brazilian porn look like they just want to run out of the room. It's similar in a lot of poor countries I imagine.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

I agree with that, I mean I read the title of it and it's laughable definitely.  But to me it raises some questions about pretty severe exploitation going on when it's a girl from Brazil agreeing to do that horrible degrading kind of stuff on film.
I'm not saying it doesn't instinctively make me laugh to even read the words "Brazilian fart porn" and I can't really say how right or wrong it is.  It takes some of the laughter out of it for me though to consider the exploitation aspect of it.

I let you in on a secret. I never watched what we call porn, other than to have a laugh with some buddies over some beers. Watching people fucking never did attract me much. Don't take this the wrong way, since there are people getting off on what I'm saying. I'm not one of them, so, that said, the display of bodily functions is as arousing to me as watching people taking a dump.

But the fact that I'm not into hardcore doesn't mean that I'm against it. My point always was, whatever rocks your boat, as long as it's consenting adults.

Everything we consume could be called exploitative, basically.
The very nature of that kind of porn is that the watcher is into humiliation. Putting restrictions on it won't stop that fundamental issue, like it or not.

I wanted to add a thought in here. I feel like a lot of studies about pornography are used as some stupid excuse. This is a bad bad world full of the horrors of pornography and homosexuality and it's no wonder that people turn to wickedness.

No. If you have a problem with violence toward women; if you see women as sexual objects; if you blur the lines between appropriate and inappropriate sexual conduct...this is a you problem not a pornography problem.

Guys....all of the porns exist. If you can imagine it it exists. If you couldn't imagine it in your most horrific nightmare...it still exists.
