Handwriting vs. Typing

I studied graphology many years ago (for personal growth reasons), and I seem to recall that the long lower-case "g" (and other letters) means a person who likes to help people. That bears out with the Thump; he's got a heart!

Lol, I think graphology is mostly pseudoscience though. It doesn't really reflect a person's personality as some people believe.

Yes, maybe there are some truths that can be extracted from one's writing style, but thinking that a long lower-case "g" means that a person likes to help people is almost the same as someone who believes in, say, astrology or palm-reading one's future. Such connections are pseudo-scientific or they are questionable at the very least, as far as I know. And of course, some things might be true simply by coincidence.

I have a typing-intensive job and find it easy to compose business correspondence, non-fiction and most types of fiction at the keyboard when at home.

For writing things that are personal and emotional, though, I often get a mental block and it's easier to just scrawl out the thoughts longhand on a sheet of paper. My handwriting is sufficiently messy that when writing out something for someone else I usually print it instead.

I type everything mainly because my handwriting looks like an epileptic spider crawled out of the ink pot! (no need for cryptography though, no one could decipher it)

That was one of the two reasons I wasn't let skip 1st class in primary school.

My handwriting is quite neat.
When I was in primary school, it was horrible, but I then made a conscious effort to write something I could understand later, so I could study...
It worked!

Last time someone commented on my handwriting, they said it looks a bit girly...

My writing is a mixture of print and script lol I prefer typing, and playing with various fonts can be fun.
