Isn't October LGBT History Month? October 11th is National Coming Out Day.

I thought about having my classes do something for LGBT History month, but I'm not sure how well that would go over, and in my US History Class we're still getting through the American Revolution. So it's not exactly a great time for it.

I didn't even know there was an LGBT history month tbh. Since when?

And tbh, what history though? Being burned alive for centuries and experimented on by the Nazis? No thanks.

Not everything needs to be modelled on the black civil rights struggle, some things can be just applicable to them.

There is a day for everything. I am surprised we have not run out of days yet for everything that needs to be celebrated in life.

LGBT History month has been celebrated since 1994.

Though tbh, I'm not sure we really gloss over most of accomplishments of gay people, just the fact that they were gay.

I disagree.

I could make a counter argument stating that famous women are not celebrated for their accomplishments so much as they are for being women.
