The world will end in about 4 billion years.  Jesusism has probably a century left jduging by the way it is declining!

You could say that those men who were wearing sandwich boards proclaiming that the "end of the world is nigh", already had a feeling that the death of religion is slowly happening.

You may want to look at the data before you make this statement. Maybe if you thought before you opened your mouth it would help.

IDK, a scant few hundred years ago you wouldn't have bothered to make some quip about his mouth. You'd have had him tortured to death.

Seems like yall might be on your way out. What's it say when southern redneck stereotypes like myself can't even be bothered to believe anymore? You're losing your base. The plate gets passed around, but aside from a few penniless geriatrics that have already been squeezed for everything they're worth......there's no one in the pews.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

The data is crystal clear to all but the dumbest of dumb fucks.

Even the "Christian Post" knows it.  I guess you didn't get the memo?  Did you pay your dues?

You're the most intelligent self-styled redneck I ever laid my eyes on, albeit virtually and such.

WTF are you talking about.... the article you -just- linked begins as follows:

Quote:While Christianity may be on the decline in the United States
So, it seems, they knew as well as Min did, and now, as well as you should.

it continues

Quote:the world is becoming more religious, not less. While rising numbers of “nones” — those who claim no religious affiliation when asked — claim the attention of religious pundits, the world tells a different story. Religious convictions are growing and shifting geographically in several dramatic ways.
So where, specifically? It continues:

Quote:In 1980, more Christians were found in the global South than the North for the first time in 1,000 years. Today, the Christian community in Latin America and Africa, alone, account for 1 billion people.

Over the past 100 years, Christians grew from less than 10 percent of Africa’s population to its nearly 500 million today. One out of four Christians in the world presently is an Africa, and the Pew Research Center estimates that will grow to 40 percent by 2030.

Asia is also experiencing growth as world Christianity’s center has moved not only South, but also East. In the last century, Christianity grew at twice the rate of population in that continent. Asia’s Christian population of 350 million is projected to grow to 460 million by 2025.

The global religious wildcard is China. Even today, demographers estimate that more Christian believers are found worshipping in China on any given Sunday than in the United States. Future trends, while difficult to predict because so much is below the religious radar, could dramatically drive down the world’s religious “nones.”
You don't think that Min cares whether or not jesusism deports itself to the third world and China, do you? I think he'd invite you to do so more quickly. I think christianity is a better match for the third world, and would be happier there, myself.

It's not surprising the opportunistic nature of aggressive religious preaching would work well in the more downtrodden parts of the world. Taking advantage of people.

God has forsaken those people already. He's shat all over them, for reasons unknown to them. Now he wants them to polish his ringpiece? Fuck off. It's really not a plus for the religion. In areas of civilization, prosperity, education and secularism it's going away like a bad smell.

Also, Jesus is a god damn liar.
