Why would I have to "knock down" some silly-ass belief?  It's mere hypothesis until otherwise demonstrated, and it isn't My job to defend other people's hypotheses.

That is bizarre Astra.
For the last few pages you just try to knock down the karma and now all of a sudden you say that you don't.
Absolutely bizarre!  Wink

I just answered that question yesterday Astra.

Tell us again Lil Rik how that little child that was raped and murdered was receiving karmic justice.

I took him off ignore because the ignore feature sucks. I can still see people quote him and not only that but I can also see his posts in the preview posts section before I post.

That sucks but oh well there isn't really an alternative, that's as good as the ignore feature gets. I didn't know quite what it was like because this is literally the first time i ever used it.

I'll just ignore the pisswit mentally and if I feel like responding to his drivel to amuse myself then so be it.

P.S. Thanks for the kudos though LFC! Great to see ya! You glad I stayed on AF? [emoji2] [emoji178]

That is a question that you should ask to the entity that administer justice.
In the meantime can you please answer that old question that you still have not answered.

Here is again...........what would you do with someone who would rape and kill your teen daughter?
Would you pardon him or would you do something nasty to him?

And what if that nasty person would pop up again as an innocent looking child?
Knowing that would you still feel sorrow for him or not?

I am sure that if you think a bit you may find an answer to your initial question.  Lightbulb

By teaching yoga to these people they would get there anyway.  Lightbulb

Quote:There are Buddhist refutations of the different schools of Hindu philosophy, including Yoga and Vedanta, and a rejection of Hindu deities like Shiva and Krishna. There are similar Yoga-Vedantic refutations of the different schools of Buddhist philosophy, including the rejection of the omniscience of Buddha, criticism of the Buddhist view of the mind, and so on.

Buddhist scriptures themselves, both Mahayana and Theravadin, contain refutations of the Atman, Brahman, Ishvara, and the key tenets of Yoga and Vedanta, which are regarded as false doctrines. Note the Lankavatara Sutra, which is very typical in this regard. Refutation of Buddhist teachings does not occur in Hindu scriptures, which are largely pre-Buddhist but are common in the later literature. Many Vedantic, Sankhya and Yoga texts contain refutations of Buddhist doctrines, particularly those of the four classical schools of Buddhist philosophy, which are similarly regarded as untrue. Such criticism of Buddhist teachings occur in the main commentaries on the Yoga Sutras, that of Vyasa, and are common in Advaita or non-dualistic Vedanta.

Wherever you are getting your information from, it appears that historical Buddhism was unaware of it. Where are you getting this information from?

Not just around Buddha but around every spiritual being you will always find a myriad of stories that
that spiritual being suppose to have or not have said.
Christ is an other example.
Also around him there are a myriad of stories that you may well get lost trying to understand all.

My knowledge about Buddha or Christ relate to the fact that they were real spiritualist.
Both of them practice yoga meditation.
Christ spend those missing years between 12-13 to 33 traveling in the east especially in the indian
subcontinent were he met several yoga teachers.

By practicing the same yoga that these two masters practice it is quite easy to know where Buddha and Christ were heading to and what they were teaching.  Lightbulb
