Theresa May's veiled criticism of Donald Trump

Not really related to the topic but I didn't think it was worthy of its own thread.

Quote:Theresa May has suggested she disapproves of the way Donald Trump has conducted his campaign to become US President.
During her trade mission to Delhi the Prime Minister was asked about people burning effigies of Donald Trump on bonfire night; what she made of the the British people's reaction to him and what was her reaction to him?
Mrs May said: "I take a simple view about the way I like to see campaigns being conducted.
"I like them to be conducted in a calm and measured way with proper consideration of the issues."
The suggestion is that Donald Trump has failed to do this.
However, Mrs May didn't express a preference on the winner.
"As to the result - it's up to the American people," she said.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I guess now we are back to everything being rigged against the Orange Baboon.
Which puts more meat to the bones of the idea that Comey's single purpose with the original letter was to torpedo Clinton's campaign. But frankly a lot of the organisations within the beltway need a serious restructuring due to their overly and overtly partisan nature.

Completely off topic, but with your new avatar, I was thinking it'd be great if you did a magic 8-ball thread, where you could answer all our questions.

At this point, Comey needs to fall on his sword.

If he's smart, he would. If he doesn't, he'll get crucified.

But frankly a lot of the organisations within the beltway need a serious restructuring due to their overly and overtly partisan nature. OFC it was, the man is a Bush administration appointee to the DOJ whose rep came from being -seen- to stand up -to- the Bush administration, but ironically, the wikidumps related to that showed an entirely different picture, that the rep he had was a convenient fiction for the administration. He was the dojs boy in an investigation regarding a pardon granted by Bill Clinton (and it wouldn;t surprise you to find that the current election cycle contains many of the same players as were involved in that, I'm sure), who then translated that bit of partisan fun into a promotion within the ranks. He did the usual revolving door thing that politicians do and went on to work with Lockheed Martin for a time, and then an investment management firm called Bridgewater. He was briefly considered for a seat on SCOTUS. That unearned rep described before did help to convince Obama to give him the FBI directorship... and there he's been, still doing what he's always done, until now.
He's probably cost himself his job, with this, no matter who makes it into the oval office. The Clinton camp won't forget it, and the Trump faction of his underlings are fuming that he hasn't hauled Hillary in..and..IDK, executed her or something. He'd need dem support to weather the pressure from his subordinates..and that's obviously not going to materialize now. He will very lkely be under investigation himself in the near future...and it;s a pretty safe bet to call him the out-going director of the fbi.
It's like an episode of fucking Springer.
