American basically elected Pence for president.

The Donald wants to be called Mr. President, but I don't think he really wants to BE Mr. President and all the work that goes along with it.

But according to the Kasich adviser (who spoke only under the condition that he not be named), Donald Jr. wanted to make him an offer nonetheless: Did he have any interest in being the most powerful vice president in history?
When Kasich’s adviser asked how this would be the case, Donald Jr. explained that his father’s vice president would be in charge of domestic and foreign policy.
Then what, the adviser asked, would Trump be in charge of?
“Making America great again” was the casual reply.

Back in August John Kasich confirmed to CNN that Donald Trump Jr. tried to entice him with being the most powerful VP ever by putting him in charge of foreign and domestic policy. 



The anti-establishment got bait-and-switched with the establishment.

The guy who doesn't believe that smoking causes cancer?  Lovely.  Bend over and bite down America; Trump/Pence are going in dry!

I hope we can all get behind the new President and support him in his efforts to make America great again.  Give him a chance people, He may just surprise you.

Yes, get behind a misogynistic, racist, child rapist who stole the election. Get behind the man who sold your country to Russia. Get behind the man who wants to make millions of your fellow citizens non-people. On a brighter note, I rarely watch tv.  TWD is the only show I watch regularly.  
With a Trump victory however Saturday Night Live should have plenty of material for the next 4 years and might actually be funny again.

I agree the comedy will get better. Can I ask you again what year America was great? What year we are going back to?

I thought the 80's and early 90's were awesome. Great football, music, economy, etc. it seemed like a prosperous time to me. Sure it had its problems but I remember life being good.

Trumps win isn't a return to any of that (80's/90's).........it's a stunning rejection of it.

It will be good to see American interests put first. This is a great nation and 58+ million of us do not like the direction it has been going. I really hope he can accomplish much of what he has promised. Good paying jobs, affordable healthcare and for us to prosper as a nation will cure a lot of our ills.

One thing is for sure, the next speedboat dispatched from Iran to harass an American vessel will be me with a shot across the bow.

For a long time our adversaries have relied upon our good nature and restraint. I suspect Trump will let the bulldog off the leash and send a message.
