Why thank you. We think you're lovely too.

Good lord, can you make some more extreme fallacies, and cram more words in my mouth while you are at it?

Those were your own words. I didn't cram them in your mouth. Bon Appetit.

I didn't say I wanted to be other than white.

I did phrase it poorly, though. I should have said I'm ashamed of white people, of which I'm a part.

But again, thanks for being one of the people that makes me ashamed. Outwardly cruel and hateful and proud of it.

He said a lot more on abortion. The Washington Post collected all his statements during the last 27 years. I don't think, quotes from 1989 matter very much since everyone can change their opinions on certain issues over time. The statements from the last 18 months however do matter. He was a candidate since june '15. And these statements present flip flopping and damage control by his press department of the finest order.

But it's got nothing to do with skin color and everything with a certain mindset. Bella, given she belongs to the LGBT community, will be on the receiving end soon enough. She's certainly not on the christmas list of creatures like that.

I am white, all of my family members are white, have always been white. And yet someone at some time decided, they are the wrong kind of white, the kind of white that should be removed from society, because once removed, all things would be just peachy for the ones being the right kind of white.

The rhetoric being used was virtually the same we can observe these days. Just try to replace muslim or Mexican with jew and see how it looks. On an international level, since the speeches are the same everywhere. Just the objects of hate differ slightly to appeal to the specific prejudices of a certain demographic.

No, kemosabe. You don't know me at all. Not in the least.

Evidently, the dems weren't do anything for the working for the working class. They lost states to Trump that hadn't voted Republican since the 1980s.

The dems'  obsession with Xenophobia, racism, and sexism didn't win them the election, did it.

How about, you're ashamed of other white people that you mischaracterize, label, and make wrong assumptions about.

I don't know why it has to be an either/or. In fact I think both are as bad as eachother.

There's racist shits in America, what news? We're talking about AmeriKKKa here, I don't know why people are acting like racism just appeared like Trump invented it. Trump is a symptom of a much bigger issue that we all have a responsibility to address.

At the same time I'm not going to be ashamed of being anything. I'm an individual and the only person I represent is myself. I can be and am opposed to racism and I acknowledge that white privilege is a thing. Simultaneously I don't not hate myself as a white person, or feel guilt over something I'm not personally responsible for. Yes you can think both at once and it's not a conflict of identity.

The problem is this subject gets polarised into two extreme camps, you are either "everything is racist and down to racism" or you are "nothing is racist, it doesn't exist". No, it lies somewhere in the middle. It wasn't just far-right "racists" voting for Trump, a lot of desperate people fell for his shit.

There's more nuance to this discussion than that, and if you can't talk about this subject with that nuance then the "everything is racist" mantra becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, because the word "racist" loses all legitimate meaning. That empowers people who don't believe it exists (as well as convincing more people that it doesn't) because it becomes a "boy who called wolf" situation.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable."

hehehehe, Oh Rhonda, help me Rhonda, but you have no idea how adequately that expresses how white I am, lol.  Barry the Whitey, reporting for duty.  I'm not one to deny my culture or races contribution to my pride...I just wish that everyone could see how we all enrich each other's very existence.

As to your example of putting someone on the moon...I think that "other than white" people definitely contributed to that one.  Just another example of cross race/cultural enrichment, amiright?  How do we convince the people who put on sheets, though?  I'm at a loss.
What to do about people who don sheets? You might as well ask what to do about theists who encroach on our freedoms. Passing laws is helpful, but it won't change people's hearts or get rid of their fears.

One of the things that feeds this fear is the scarcity mentality that makes people think there's not enough to go around. It's human nature to get into groups where we feel we belong. The scarcity mentality makes us turn these groups into determiners of the haves and the have nots. If, as you pointed out, we recognize how we enrich one another and that the other's gain is not our loss we will have no grounds for fear.

Not all Trump supporters are racist. But his election validates the racist shit he was spewing, in the eyes of his supporters who are actually racist.

You know what caused this result? Racism still sells. Calling a spade a spade is what needs to be done, and if folks get butthurt for having their racism pointed out, fuck 'em.  They probably deserve a little butthurt.
And even more bullshit. If the democrats and hillary were less fixated on a campaign harping on race, sexism, xenophobia, etc., and was more focused on jobs and the working class they wouldn't have lost that once loyal voting base in the rust belt states that Trump took away from them.

Sorry, buddy. I know whereof I speak ... You ain't here talking to the folks I am. You have no way of knowing them.

In other words, baseless denial.
