I don't really care for women, who act infantile. Same goes for those pretending to be dumb, or easily amused - it strikes me as an attempt to appear non-threatening to thick, insecure men. I don't like being manipulated, or at least - not in such insultingly obvious ways. That's probably the main reason I'll always be lonely...

If you think about it though, we call our SO's "baby" and it doesn't mean we are literally attracted to babies, or that we view our SO's as parents when they call us that. It's the same thing with the daddy thing I think.

Yup, just terms of endearment.
It's just never going to work for me, because that's what my wife calls me when she's speaking to the children, and what the children call me. They don't even know my name, lol. They think it's Daddy...they tell people it's Daddy. My daughter put "Daddy Tyler" on her little vets day table placard, lol.

Poll question is for the men of the forum.
I was watching a reality show last night where they were discussing whether or not men like being called "daddy" by their significant other. Whether it be during sex, as an endearing pet name, or whatever. If you are a man and if there is any time that you like or would like being called daddy by your SO, answer YES on the poll.
In a sexual context I think I would find it a bit too incesty for my liking.
It implies a history of inappropriate contact or feelings towards their father and it would take me out of the moment.
