What gives a religion the right to claim their fantasy is correct and the rest false?

Joe Smith managed to fubar having written records from almost day one.  So, if you look to Mormonism as an example, yes, it could get more stupid.  Much more stupid.

As the Mormons showed with their OCD record keeping and their mysterious hankering to then  publish them, that damn paper trail can trip up a faith ROYALLY!!


As the Mormons were learning the ropes, so to speak, of how to make a go of their new religion, they made many blunders along the way.  The original versions of all the revelations for instance.

God was unable to utter a single thought to Joe Smith without either immediately or later on changing His mind, and then revising the Revelation.  The changes came so fast and furious, it is a credit to the Mormons they were able to keep up with the spew.


So yes, if the Mormons are any kind of an indicator, Christ could have really, really fucked up with a paper trail.  Probably should be some loud hosannas shouted in churches around the world that Christ could only read, and not take pen to paper, too.

For the record, all organized religions are in error in their practice.  Churches and religion have been corrupted.  I suggest reading it for yourself.

I feel I do not fit the mold many would like to dismiss Christians as.  Lack of education, place of birth, education, indoctrination, etc.  

Feel what you like, but you're a prime example of that.
