Same here. We eat roast pork, rice and beans, fried plantains, and pumpkin pie.

For a fact, instant ones from a box.  One of the first things I learned to make too.  First time I got laid I had my girlfriend over to my first apartment where I cooked her dinner: fake mashed potatoes, canned corn, hot dogs and pop open tube biscuits.  Had not one clue how gauche it was.  Zip.  Hahaha.  Just remembered that after the first round of sex I turned on the television to see the second half of a basketball game.  She didn't care, she'd just cum during sex for the first time.  She was one of that rare breed of women for whom multiples are possible from intercourse alone.  Man did I ever get set up for some unreasonable expectations after that.  Ended up marrying that one.

Pro tip: good sex is no where near enough.  One of many things I didn't know at 21.  (Yeah, I was a pretty old virgin.)

I'll probably be working, covering for a coworker so's he can visit family several hours away.

So ... no cooking.

Lol, I wouldn't be doing too much anyway. Mom's house, her hubby will be wearing the apron.

Come Christmas, I'll probably add my lasagna to the family table.

Did I mention I made that recently? Got two big purple heads of cauliflower discounted to 99¢, steamed them and pureed them. Hey, put enough butter in there and a little salt and whipped anything is going to taste pretty good.

Nah, no sadface. I'll spend morning/early afternoon with them, and stop by after work that night for more visiting. And for tradeoff, I'll get Christmas off .. 's'all good.

That's the only way I can stomach cauliflower.

Still not as good as a couple of orgasms and the back half of a game, though.
