I hate when people act dumb thinking it's cute and endearing. Yes you're stupid, it's not a good thing.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but I also find myself increasingly turned off by like overt caricaturish sexuality as well, someone trying too hard to be sexy.

Lots of celebrities make a living from this, plus it's used as a technique in reality tv to gain popularity on things like big brother or goggle box in the U.K.

I think Karl pilkington does it to an extent but a lot of the stuff he says I think is genuine.

If you live in the U.K. And you've attended school/ have access to television, radio or anything I don't get how you can't at least have heard of Romeo and Juliet.

My brother also didn't know who Horatio Nelson was, and for some reason thought it was Napoleon Bonaparte standing on top of Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square. The only defense I can give him is that we're not from London, but really that's still piss poor.

Also, memory is but a single aspect of intelligence not intelligence as a whole.

Things you fail to understand could fill the warehouse at the end of Raiders Of The Lost Ark... You see, you have no way of knowing this, but "Brains" is what makes us comprehend sh*t... Dumb people have to try to look good, because they have nothing else.  

I can actually understand what he means though. We all have our talents and gifts. For some of us it might be extreme intelligence, for others it might be extreme good looks. Who's to say one is objectively better than the other? Both can use their gifts to contribute positively or negatively to society.
